Alstonefield is situated 7 miles north of Ashbourne and 12 miles south of Buxton.
Take the A515 from either direction.

The Alstonefield turning descends sharply down to the River Dove, over the bridge straight up the hill towards the village.

Take the third turning on the left signed to Ilam/Wetton/Dovedale. This roads cuts through the village at the T junction (opposite Yew Tree farm).

Turn left and after approximately a quarter of a mile, Hope Green Farm is set back from the road on the right.

Turn into the unnamed lane and enter the gate (approx 100 yards on the right). The Haybarn is the building on the left. Your car can be parked right outside.
